Tonks picked up her glass to have a sip of water, but almost immediately slammed it back down on the table. "What!?" She narrowed her eyes at Rifka. "Of course he wanted saving!" She sat up straight and took a deep breath. Clearly Rifka had drunk too much, or else she wouldn't have said these things. Didn't want saving. That was almost laughable. In fact, it was hysterical. She threw her head back as an obnoxiously loud laugh escaped her lips. "You are funny, Rifka." she said, as she clapped her friend on the back.
She couldn't help but agree that it was probably time they headed back; if they waited much longer, they'd be in trouble for missing kurfew. Not that Tonks was a stranger to trouble, nor was she ever concearned when she would get into trouble - especially if Slughorn was the one dishing it out - but still, like anyone, she try to avoid it if she could. Her methods were slightly different to most, though. While a lot of people stuck by that old 'Don't do the crime, if you can't do the time', she lived by 'Do the crime, then use any means possible to avoid the time.' Tonight, however, she would take the moral high ground and make it back on time. She didn't want Rifka getting punished, and punished they would be if they returned late - especially since that would mean they would notice that Rifka had been drinking.
Rifka really was a sweet girl, so when she asked Tonks to tell her stories, she felt it was her duty to oblige; besides, she really did enjoy telling them. "Okay, you give me the topic of the story, and I will tell you one." she said, as they walked back to school.

Rifka giggled as she looked around as they started to reach hogwarts ground "tell me a story about an animal, because you know i like animals, and i don't want it to end bad, like i don't want the animal to die" rifka looked at Tonks and frowned she didn't like animals getting hurt. she crossed her arms stumbling up the big hill going up to hogwarts.
Rifka and Tonks arrived at hogwarts "WE ARE HERE NO!" Rifka yelled as she opened the door and stumbled in "great hall!" she yelled as she saw a few people look at her "oops" she whisper and walked into the great hall taking a seat near the door. "okay go for it tell me about more animals"

Tonks pulled her coat around her as they walked back to school. It was already cold when she'd left for the pub, and now on the way back the temperature had seemed to drop a good five degrees or so. "Of course I won't tell you a story about dying animals - that's just depressing."
They arrived back at Hogwarts, and Rifka was making a right scene about it. Tonks couldn't help but laugh a little, subtley clearly wasn't her strong suit. She sat down next to Rifka, and took her outer wear off - it was noticably warmer inside, a fact Tonks was pleased about. "Okay... let me tell you about some penguins! Four penguins, to be precise. There were once four penguins. To the untrained eye, they were cute and cuddly. YET, they had a hidden side that no one else knew of... they were really SECRET SPIES! The four of them each brought something very important to the table. There was the confident-leader-penguin, the ridiculously-intelligent-penguin, the-kind-and-caring-penguin and the gutsy-crazy-penguin. And they were spies. The end." That wasn't really the end at all but Tonks feared, that in all her excitement, she had already said too much about these penguins. They wouldn't stay secret spies for long if Tonks went about telling everyone.

Rifka looked at tonks and than around the room she was not very pleased about the story. she raised a brow and stared at her "thats it?" she said and crossed her arm "tonksies, i have a feeling thats true story" she said raising her brow again. "tell me more stories, ones i will actrully like" she said and made a snarling noise as she was joking she did most of tonksies stories. "how about a story about pigs, yuou know ilike pigs" she said as she sat up.
Rifka sat up for a moment "do you want a drink tonksies like water or juice i can get it before the story" she said as she headed towards the kitchen before tonks could answer her, she looked behind her and smirked. Rifka looked at one of the clocks as it was getting late rifka jumped "yay!" she said as she can get her warm milk she always went down to the kitchen to get.
Rifka finally made her way to the kitchen "hi can i have a big glass of warm milk and a glass of juice for my friend" she said as they knew the glass of milk was for her. they handed the small girl the drinks as rifka headed back up to the great hall. she walked in and snuck up on tonks "here i got you juice" she said as she ploped back downon one of the tables with the warm glass of milk in her hand "okay i think this time i have everything i need"

Tonks stared at Rifka expectantly, expecting some kind of applauds or at least a grin - but that was not what she got. "What do you mean, 'Is that it?' That was a great story! Who doesn't love stories about make believe, totally unreal penguins?" She made a point to stress that this story wasn't true, the penguins would never forgive her for giving them up...
"A story about pigs... right..." Tonks let Rifka get the drinks, while she racked her brains for a story on pigs. Rifka wasn't gone for long, but Tonks still found herself distracted by the time she got back - a distraction in the form of twiddling her own thumbs, believe it or not.
Taking the drink, Tonks thanked Rifka and had a sip before she began. She hoped this would buy her time as since she got distracted, she still had no story. Unfortunately, in the 30 seconds it took to drink some juice, Tonks thought of nothing so she panicked and did the first thing she could think of. "Okay, you're going to have to wiggle your own toes for this one, because I hate feet." Tonks said, as she tried to yank Rifka's shoe off. "Start with the big one, okay?... This little piggy went to market..."

Rifka blinked at tonks for a moment "my mom used to do this to me when we were younger she says i am too old now but i still love it secretly don't tell her" she said as she took of her shoes and wiggled her toes free. "free piggaly wigglies" she said and let out a small laugh drinking some of her warm milk. "okya keep going" she said as she looked down at her toes. she smiled at tonks as she missed doing this with her mother. she put her feet on the other side of her so she could see them better, she closed her eyes and waited for the little pig toe story that she had always loved, she looked around.
"tonks can i ask you something?" she said as she knew a lot of people thought she was a freak and a bit of a crazy person "do you think i'm crazy?" she said and looked down with a frown on her face. she put her knees up to her chest and started to play with her toes a little bit more,

Tonks was actually quite relieved that Rifka reacted so well to the whole little piggy thing. If the tables had turned and somebody had tried to do that to her, she probably would have shot backwards a mile screaming 'Nobody touches my feet!'
"Pffft, you're never to old for this little piggy." she answered casually, as if she had planned the whole thing because she knew Rifka would like it. She continued the song to the end, even though a couple of first years were eyeing them strangely. Tonks was quite used to getting funny looks, by now.
Tonks pondered Rifka's next question for a few seconds, before she chose her words carefully and replied; "Maybe a little bit... but I don't see why that's a bad thing. I can't tell you how many times I've been called insane, or anything simular. I think it adds character." The last part, she said with a nod. "Of course, I'm not crazy - my mother had me tested. And that is what I tell them." she added in a matter of fact tone, before having a sip of her juice.

"so you think me being crazy is a good thing" Little Rifka said to her dearest friend tonks. she looked down for a moment really thinking about it "is it really not that bad?" she said to herself as she saw her mother appear once more. "not right now mother" she said in a mumble she loved her mother bur sometimes she wished she didn't come at the worst time. "she looked away and crossed her arms looking near the door. "DRU!' Rifka yelled as she has not seen him in a while "excuse me for a moment" Rifka said jumpijng out of her seat
rifka ran over to Dru and hugged him "hi Dru" she giggled outloud as she knew her mother did not approve of dru, but rifka was vary fond of him, she had a crush on him and was glad she met him "you should join me and Tonks over there for a few mins" she said as she pulled him into the great hall and making him sit down for a bit.
"tonks this is Dru" she said as she was not sure if she met him yet "he is ah well hes my" she said as she didn't know how to phrase it. "hes my ah" she said as she couldn't say it she looked at dru and blushed as she looked at tonks. "i only came down to get something, i will see you tommorow" Dru said to her and gave her a kiss on the cheek. "alright Dru i'll see you tommorow" she said and giggled while blushing.
"what?" she said as she looked at tonks still blushing. she closed her eyes and smiled as she opened them once more drinking the rest of her milk "tonks can i tell you a story?" she said smiling at her muitli hair colored friend.

"Of course it's a good thing! It's better than being normal. Normal is dull." she concluded with a nod of her head. For a moment, Tonks thought she'd heard Rifka mutter something about her mother but, upon looking around, decided she must of imagined it since there was only the two of them in a close enough proximity to hear.
Just then, Rifka shouted "DRU!" really quite loud into her ear, causing Tonks to slap her hand to it. "Your face is a shrew!" she replied, automatically before realising what was actually going on. Hoping Rifka hadn't heard, she decided to act casual and pretend nothing had happened.
She waited for her friend to come back, and in response to the introduction said; "Hello, Dru! I have juice." Because 'nice to meet you' would have been far too normal, and dull. Dru, however didn't stay long so she waved him off with a "Bye, Dru!" before she turned to face Rifka with a grin. A grin that she hoped said, 'so tell me about this Dru boy.' So when Rifka said she wanted to tell a story, Tonks was sure that it would be the story of Rifka and Dru and that her grin had conveyed it's message. "Tell away." she said, placing her hand out, palm-side up, to signify that the floor was now Rifka's.
