Classes were over for the day as Rifka was in the mood to bake, she ran downstairs as fast as she could falling a few times. She made it into the Slytherin common room and up to her dorm room. She went through her trunk finding an outfit to wear; she got out of her robes and into them. She looked around seeing her mother “were you a good cook?” she asked sitting on her bed for a moment “I don’t remember I haven’t had your cooking in a long time” she said as she looked down “of course I was, I was the best” said her mother in response to the young girl “do you think I will be?” of course” she said as he mother kissed her head. They haven’t gotten along in a while and it felt good “thanks mom, if you don’t mind I’m going to go cook and bake some cookies” she said as she flared her arms and smiled at her mother.
Rifka headed out of the dorm rooms and down to the common room where she saw people gathering, she crossed her arms and headed out of the common room as well. She looked to the side of her as her mother kept appearing, she knew her mother was coming up with something. She closed her eyes and made her way towards the kitchen. Normally people aren’t allowed in the kitchen before a meal but no one could deny such a cute girl as Rifka.
She walked into the kitchen “may, may I come and cook and maybe make some cookies?” she said as she batted her eyes with a smile, the head cook looked down at her and rubbed her head “of course” he said as Rifka crossed her arms and pouted as she hated when they petted her “yeah yeah” she snapped as she walked over to a free area and looked around.
Rifka put on an apron and got out some cookie mix batter as she looked around once more. In the corner of her eye she saw Alice Adams a girl she liked she smirked and walked over to her “you making siri cookies?” she said with a whisper in here ear, she has never really baked cookies or even cooked and knew Alice was amazing at it.
Rifka stood next Alice for a while and looked down at the cookies that were being made. She frowned a little as she wanted to know how “Alice” she said looking up at the older witch “could you” she said slightly crossing her arms “could you teach me how to make cookies and other things?” she said as she put a small smile on your face.

It was a beautiful day outside. It was sunny and unusually warm for October and, as luck would have it, Alice Adams only had two classes. Which meant, of course, that what she really wanted to do was creep on Slughorn all day long as he wandered about the grounds saving the universe collecting potions ingredients, or whatever it was he did outside. Unfortunately, for Alice, when she got out of her last class, she was met in the hall by a very disgruntled Sirius Black, who put his hands on her shoulders, looked her very seriously in the eye and said, "Sugarblossom, my cookie jar is empty."
And with those six words, Alice's day of creeping on Slughorn went flying out the window. Because, of course, if Sirius was out of cookies, she had to go down to the kitchens and bake him some more. She couldn't just leave him cookie-less, after all. So it was that, after assuring Sirius that his cookie jar would not remain empty for long, Alice trudged off to the kitchens, tickled the pear on the portrait that hid the entrance and slipped inside. One of the house elves gave her a rather shifty look, but Alice ignored him [or perhaps it was a her? she never could tell] and simply strolled casually towards an empty spot in the corner. As a general rule, students were not allowed to just wander into the kitchens and begin cooking, but Alice had made an arrangement with the house elves long ago - if they let her cook Sirius's cookies there, she wouldn't appear at all hours of the night making wild requests, like 'I need a bagel with strawberries and pickles on top, stat!'
Muttering to herself about feeling like a housewife, Alice shed the outer layers of her robes and tied an apron over her skirt. She had just pulled out a mixing bowl and begun gathering ingredients when she was startled by someone whispering in her ear. She spun around, prepared to karate chop the offending whisperer, but immediately relaxed when she found herself face to face with Rifka Capgras, the only Slytherin she'd ever been able to tolerate. "I am indeed, Rifka!" She answered cheerfully. "His cookie jar is empty, apparently, and we can't have that!" She grinned at the younger girl before turning back to her mixing bowl and eyeing a package of brown sugar rather dubiously, due to the fact that it was not so much brown as it was green.
The two of them stood in silence for a while as Alice continued to bake and then Rifka piped up again. "Teach you?" She said, her brow furrowed as she thought it over. She was considering saying no, because she'd never really taught anyone anything before and she wasn't sure now was the time to start, but then she looked down at Rifka's smiling face and immediately changed her mind. "I don't see why not!" Alice replied cheerfully, before handing the bowl she'd been mixing ingredients in to Rifka and continuing. "Here, why dont you start by mixing this while I find some less green sugar."

Rifka looked at Alice and jumped "yay!" she said as she took the spoon from her friends hand and looked around "about this sug.." she looked down at the bag "oh never mind this was what you were talking about" she said as she twitched a little bit and closed and eye pushing the bag far away from the Sirius cookies. she started to ster the batter together and stuck another spoon in to test it. "nom" she said to herself as she closed her eyes letting the chocolate chip hit her mouth.
she opened her eyes and took her hand off the spoon as she saw Alice "is that less green sugar?" she said with a smile letting alice come back in since she knew what she was doing, "ooh! can we put some colored dye in the cookies? i think that would be awesome and siri would like them" she said as she flared her arms. "wait! i want to make one in the shape of a solhpin" she said holding her hands together batting her eyes,
she stopped for a moment before busting out laughing, she called sirius dolphin as she was mad at him for calling her kitty. she smirked once more before putting her full attention on alice "so whats next?" she said as she calmed down and didn;t want to get to excited.

Alice wandered away from Rifka in search of sugar, wiping her hands on her apron as she went. She was bending to search a cabinet when a startlingly deep voice intoned, "Can I help you?"
Alice looked up to find herself face to face with what was probably the scariest house elf she'd ever seen. She twitched slightly, pursed her lips and let out a hiss of breath as she prepared herself to deal with Spooky McHouseElf. "I was just looking for brown sugar. The only package I've found so far was suspiciously green." She said, doing her best to sound indignant and disgusted, though she was mostly just afraid the house elf was going to punch her. In response, Spooky McHouseElf narrowed his eyes and, without looking away from her, reached behind her into the cabinet and pulled out a back of brown sugar. Still afraid, Alice snatched the brown sugar and gave a quick, "Honestly, what kind of operation are you running down here? Green sugar! I should report you."
And then she straightened up and hightailed it back to Rifka.
Alice smiled at seeing Rifka tasting the dough and nodded cheerfully at Rifka's question. "Yes it is!" She said, smiling brightly as she measured out a cup of brown sugar and dumped it into the bowl that Rifka was still stirring. She listened to Rifka's suggestion with a raised eyebrow, grinning at the idea of dolphin shaped cookies. For a minute she was almost absurdly excited about the idea of making super special fun shaped cookies in rainbow colors, but then she glanced at the dough and frowned. With a heavy sigh, she took the bowl back from Rifka when she handed to her and finished mixing in the last few bits of brown sugar. "Well..." She said as she set the bowl down and began rolling spoonfuls of dough into balls and dropping them on the cookie sheet she'd grabbed earlier. "These cookies are my super special Sirius Cookies. The recipe is top secret and can never me changed, even to do something fun like add food coloring."
"However," She continued, flattening a ball of dough with the palm of her hand. "After we get these in the oven, we could make colorful sugar cookies! Dolphin shaped cookies and pumpkin shaped cookies and oh! Apple shaped cookies, cause Sirius could use some wooing." Alice paused and turned to grin at Rifka. "How does that sound?" She asked, passing the bowl of dough back to the other girl. "Here, why don't you try rolling some of these? Just take a spoonful of dough, roll it into a ball with your hands and then drop it on the cookie sheet and flatten it with the palm of your hand." As she spoke, Alice demonstrated once more before stepping back to give Rifka room.

Rifka frowned a little as she wanted to make sirius some dolphin shaped cookies as she calls him dolphin the nickname came when she was mad at him one day for calling her kitty but now she loves it and wouldn't change her nickname.
"can i maybe give one of the dolphin cookies to siri because, i call him that and i want him to love me if i made him a dolphin shaped cookie" she said as she smiled as she loved to bake "not in that kind of way, he is like a brother to me" she said as she had Dru a guy she was crazy about, she started to drool as she thought of him.
"oh sorry about that what were you saying, i was ah you know day dreaming" she said with a small giggle "ooh when we make pretty cookies i want to make one for Dru he loves cookies!" she said and sighed "dru" she said as she snapped out of it again. "sorry again so sorry, frist crush" she giggled once more as she watched alice finish Siri's cookies "can i lick the spoon?"
