NOTE: Again, I will fill in the earlier bits, when I can be bothered to find them all. Okay? Lovely.
AMBER SAID:
Laughing softly Amber nodded. Her bookshelves at home were filled with potions and healing books and most of her summer was spent looking through them and trying to figure out different illnesses. Looking back at the kid she took a moment to think. The potion was a little more simple than some of the others that she needed but she always seemed to forget one ingredient. Biting her bottom lip her eyes moved back to Nurse Tyler. "Newt Eyes, fairy wings, lacewing flies..." Closing her eyes in concentration she bit her bottom lip again. She knew this. It was one of the potions she had memoried just last sumer. "Moonstone, scarab beetles, and the petals from a winter rose." Nodding as she went over her list in her head. It seemed as if she had said everything that was needed.
Her thoughts landed on the last ingredient. The winter rose was one of the most beautiful flowers she had ever seen. They only grew in snow and were uncommon in the use of potions most of the time. But the rose could make just about anything cold and so when trying to cool down a person it was good to have something very cold. Looking up at Nurse Tyler again she waited to hear if she had said all the ingredients or if she had missed one. She knew most healers kept potions in stock and didn't have to worry about needing to brew one when the time came but sometimes there was a shortage or it was a potion that went bad quickly.
In that case it was needed to know what to do right away. If she had any hope of moving forward in her career after Hogwarts then she would need to know how to brew a number of important potions without the aid of any book. Hopefully she had gotten it right though. The cooling potion was actually a little easier than most of the more important healing potions and had been easier to memorize but in the past she had forgotten either the Newt eyes or the lacewing flies. One missed ingredient could change the entire make-up of a potion as well. "Often times the finished product is kept in a freezer as well, I believe." Partly because it kept it good longer and the effects took place quicker when given to a patient. It wasn't required for the potion...it just helped. Finally confident in her answer she nodded to herself before smiling.

Billie watched as Amber began to correctly identify the ingredients needed to make a successful cooling potion. She was doing well, just as Billie hoped she would, though she couldn't help but notice the girl begin to struggle towards the end. She continued to watch sympathetically, and could almost hear Amber's brain ticking as she searched for the last ingredients. Once or twice she considered putting her out of her misery and letting her know what they were, but she forced herself to stay quiet and give the aspiring healer a chance. She remembered exactly what it was like to have the ingredient on the tip of her tongue, only to be told she was too slow and have the question passed onto somebody else; somebody who would usually get the answer spot on, before turning to Billie with a smug smile plastered on their face. As it were, Billie had made the right decision because moments later Amber had given her the answer and was seemingly waiting to see if she was correct. A broad grin covered Billie's face, and she gave a little nod. "Good." Of course, knowing the ingredients was only half of making a potion, or perhaps even a third, but Billie thought making Amber go through the steps would be a bit much - this wasn't a potions class, after all.
Just then, the hospital wing doors swung open with a whoosh; followed closely by a crowd of students making a ridiculous amount of noise. "We found them like it!" came the cry of a girl's voice. "We have no idea how it happened, they were just there!" screamed another. While half of the group seemed to be legit concerned, others appeared amused, even impressed. "Quick someone get a camera!" a blonde boy bellowed. "I don't know how they come up with these things." laughed somebody else. Billie glanced over the many faces, trying to work out who was at the center of all this commotion, to find none other than Krystal Hargreaves and Jaimee Jung. What SHENANIGANS had they been up to this week? she thought, with a shake of her head. A small part of her couldn't help but wonder if Tonks and Alice played a part in this, or if it was just a genuinely, unfortunate accident - with these girls, it really was hard to tell.
"Okay, quieten down everyone! Krystal, Jaimee; you stay where you are. The rest of you out!" Reluctantly, the gang began to disperse when the blonde haired boy ran back in yelling "I got it! I got the camera!" Blocking the lens, Billie stood in front of the boy and his camera. "I said go!" she said, a harsh tone to her voice. A frown fell on his face, as he turned and walked away muttering. "Okay Amber... what do you make of this then?" Billie asked, signalling the two girls who were apparently attached to each other. Just when she'd began to think she'd seen it all, in comes Krystal Hargreaves with her foot fused to Jaimee's mouth.
