If there had to be a voting contest for someone who could run a "spying operation", Andromeda would be tops for first place. Earlier this evening, She had ran into one of Lily Evan's class sessions - only to slip a note in her potions book, and flee. It was towards the end of the class, anyways - which is why she wasn't caught red handed. Sneaking notes into others peoples books, it sounded like the good old days, again! The note consisted of, "Lils, Meet by the Black Lake around 9 - I have some news about our little Snape. Oh, and PS: Try not to be heavy on the perfume, don't need creatures following you, in the process." Then, of course, a small lake was drawn in the corner and filled in. It looked like a two years old work of art, but - it wasn't like Andromeda was made to be an artist!
They had been leaving the dorms early, almost every other night, to try and keep an eye on Severus. It was asked from Lily to do so, and Andromeda couldn't pass something like that up. Spying? It was like a dream come true. And, if it meant Lily having some line of hope, She would make it happen, even if it meant risking their position as student at Hogwarts. Not like that would happen, anyways. Being one with the shadows, was one of Andromeda's specialties.
Flat black boots crushed the dying old leafs below Dromeda's feet. It would cause her to stop every two seconds, and glance over her shoulder to make sure she WAS the only one. If worse came to worse, the wand would come out. Sliding down a small patch of mud from the snow that had formed at the beginning of that week, Andromeda caught herself falling backwards. Twisting her slender figure to catch herself, those hands dug into the mud. "Oh, how gross." She managed to whimper out, pushing herself back up to stand.
Flicking her hands in front of her a couple of times, she could see the smudges left against her finger tips. Considering that was all she could see, the rest of her hands were covered in fingerless black gloves with the symbol of "Slytherin" stitched into it. The rest of her ensemble consisted of - Black leggings, The normal school uniform with the Slytherin touch, Black over coat that reached towards the back of her knee (almost over throwing her features), and a green and yellow scarf. Those dark brown eyes almost looked black in the dark, which stood out due to her black eyeliner she wore. Brunette hair was messy and wavy as usual, but was pulled back into a small pony tail. She smelt of the outdoors, but had a hint of lavender smuggled in her scarf.
Oh look, her black nail polish was chipping. Awesome; Rolling her eyes, she slowly made her way towards the end of her trail. The moon was reflecting off the Black Lake, and all was silent. It was almost creepy, in a way. Head turning left, and right quickly, she slowly made herself towards the last standing out tree - before running into water. NOT TO TOUCH was the rule, or else you would be swallowed up into nothing, Dory! Gently resting her back against the bark of the tree, she exhaled to only see a line of fog escaping her black lips. Her pale skin stood out more so, because of the moon, tonight - but it was actually a good thing for her.
Placing her hands to rest against the flaky bark, she glanced over her shoulder, behind her - double checking she wasn't being tracked. Attempting to catch her breath, she rested the back of her head against the tree. "Lils, you better get here soon. You KNOW how I hate being out here by myself - It's...beyond the lengths of creepy." Andromeda thought to herself. Now, the time was to wait. Severus had been whispering to others lately, and Andromeda tried to best to make out who and what it was about. Lils had to know.
